We are celebrating Children’s Literature over at Artistic Outpost. I have a soft spot for Alice In Wonderland so I chose the Wonderland Collage plate to work with. I chose a pastel palette as it reminds me of a childs nursery. And isn’t he a cute bunny?
So, my background started out with some washi tape covered with a wash of gesso. I then white embossed a postmark background from the Ephemera Backgrounds plate. The image is colored using distress markers. I love the rose trim and the vintage lace. Perfect finishing touches.

A wonderful sense of nostalgia with the sun faded colours (it reminds me of book covers faded through time) and that addition of the lace is divine.

Oh, I absolutely adore this, Kate. Love what you have done with the wonderland plate – using the pastel palette was inspired and I especially like the white embossing in the background! Awesome take on the hop theme!

Ooh, snap! Just love the White Rabbit stamp, and he’s enchantingly framed here… the embossed Postcard stamp looks great, and I love all that soft, ruched fabric!
