I made a pop-up card featuring the Artistic Outpost stamp plate Hero. This is my take on the Americana theme. I started off with some Tim Holtz paper. I used distress paints and stamping in the background. I layered a few stamped images and such. I tried to keep the front simple.
For the inside background I used a star stencil and layed down molding paste. I then painted over the background with distress paints. I used a pop-up die cut and layered a few stamped pieces on top and then my main stamped image. I love this cute little boy saluting.

What a cool card- love the front cover with the stars showing through, but love the inside with the hearts in embossing paste and the pop up soldier in full salute. Awesome!

Fabulous, Kate. I especially love the front – the designer paper is perfect and I have always loved that image of Rosie the Riveter – such an incredible part of American history and totally perfect to depict Americana! The scrap of cardboard and rosette with the HERO stamp make such a cool element. Super take on this month’s hop theme!
