This month our theme is masculine. I chose the Steampunk stamp plate from Artistic Outpost. My background was a disgarded tag from a previous project. I went over it with a bit of gesso, trying to keep the background color and texture but covering up my boo boo at the same time. And then I used a tree stencil with some gel medium. I really like the effect it made after letting some ink drip down in the cracks. And then of course I just layered everything on top.

Such a fabulous collection of layers, textures and images! Your really brought it all together – I especially love the stamping on canvas. I’ve been thinking about that and you have inspired me to drag my canvas out 🙂 This is really a fresh take on using the Steampunk plate!
