I have been busy altering a few things from the dollar store. This star was a chipboard decoration with a patriotic theme and some red glittered words. I modge podged on some papers into the background and painted with gesso and various acrylic paints. I stamped the background and heat embossed a few patriotic phrases.
My focal stamp has been watercolored. Various vintage laces have been sprayed and layered. I also added some paper roses. All of these products can be found at the Red Rubber Designs Store.

Kate, this is absolutely wonderful. I really LOVE everything about it from the sweet vintage image of the little boy with the toy boat and the Statue of Liberty in the background, to the color palette and the argyle print and all those yummy embellishments. What an incredible wall hanging you have created.
