I used my Paper Boy and Chalkboard Wisdom stamp plates from Artistic Outpost to make this card. I made the tag some time ago but never used it on a project so I decided this was the time to put it to use. I stamped the sentiment as well as the stars and just layered them on top of each other. The background was made using a measuring tape embossing folder.
Happy Tuesday! I got another Christmas card completed! I love this Rudolph Day. It is such a motivator to get ahead even if it is just a few projects.
It helps being able to use up images on my desk. Who said Christmas cards have to have Santa on them??
And here is a Steampunk Christmas tag. Might look cute on a masculine gift.
And another card.
Hope you are enjoying the first week of spring.
More layouts in my Vintage Vibes Art Journal. I used some of my new Lynne Perrella stamps from PaperArtsy. Well, they were new months ago but I finally got around to playing.
My background was made using a Tim Holtz technique. I went over it in places with gesso and a brick stamp. Flowers are from I Am Roses. I used lots of bright colors in a mix of paint and sprays.
Can’t believe that the week is almost over. Enjoy!
Happy Saturday! I have a project for I Am Roses to share. I had a lot of fun with all the new flowers in my package. This photo is of my youngest and his favorite stuffed bunny, Henley. They go everywhere together and have seen a lot of interesting times.
I added flowers to the side of the canvas to add some extra depth. Here is another view.
And here is another front view.
I appreciate your visit. Hope you have time to craft this weekend!
I recently made this card for my Dad’s birthday. I used the Boardwalk & Chalkboard Wisdom stamp plates from Artistic Outpost. The background is embossed and layered with a variety of scrap paper. A bit of gesso, Distress Paints and stamping complete the background. Thank you for looking.
Hello! It has been a while since I have posted. Finding time to craft has been difficult.
This card was made using Pink Persimmon‘s Antiquated Stamps by Lisa Pace. Such beautiful vintage images and so detailed.
Hope you are enjoying your week. Thank you for stopping.
Welcome! It is time again for another challenge over at the I Am Roses challenge Blog. I chose the colors green and white for the theme of my project. My image is by Lynne Perrella. I made this flip book to be my new art journal.
I can’t wait to start using it. I love unusual sized books. Here is the back of the book.
Another Lynne Perrella image on the back.
Thanks for looking. Check out the Challenge and play along.
I have been inspired by my friend Hettie to play along with Rudolph Day every month. It is were you create Christmas related cards and such on the 25th of each month. It feels nice to get a head start.
I hope you enjoy your weekend!
