I was getting a little discouraged this afternoon because I am in the middle of a few projects and my desk is a mess. I was having a hard time creating. So, I decided to try and clean up my desk a little by using up all the tid bits lying around on my desk. Here is what I came up with.
The background is a failed tag and an embossed piece of kraft paper. The image is ‘Suzanna’ by Stampington. I just bought it and have been dying to use it. The image has been stamped and cut on my desk for a while. The butterfly and script stamp are also by Stampington. I used some vintage lace and burlap to add texture. That pinecone die came in handy again(very addicting if you haven’t noticed). A chipboard camera by Crate Paper, Ideology key and a sentiment and two hearts by Red Rubber Designs as well as the ribbon and brad.
Well, I guess thats about it for today! Hoping you have a happy, crafty weekend.

Beautiful tag Kate. So glad you didn’t throw any part of this away.

You make this look easy, and I’ve tried the tag thing and so far I’be been too embarrassed to post! Another gorgeous piece!
Wow this is stunning and those flowers are gorgeous, so many beautiful embellishments, thanks for sharing with us at Prairie Fairy Fridays, we’re happy to have you!
Hi Kate – wow, this is really gorgeous! Love the colours and all the little embellishments you’ve used. Welcome to the snippets playground – roll call is tomorrow 🙂 Di xx
I think your failed attempt at a tag turned into a real beauty! 🙂 I really love your Suzanne stamp. She’s lovely. Your layered tag is very well done. I particulary like the little detail pieces that you’ve added; the lace and the burlap to give more texture. Your frustration in having a hard time creating turned out a beautiful piece! Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. ❤ Candy
Kate, How gorgeous is this Tag. The colours and the elements go so well to-gether. A thing of Great Beauty I say. Hugs from Scotland. Rita xx

What an amazing use of what way “lying on your desk”. Love it!
Hi Kate
I am sorry that I have not visited for an absolute age – blame life!!!
This is a stamp I adore yet I have never bought. The sad tale is, I spied her on Ebay recently, had her on my watch list but on the final day I wasn’t able to access my laptop and missed out 😦 She is gorgeous and your creation is gorgeous.
I hope life is good with you at the moment.
Wishes
