I was very inspired by a post on the Paper Artsy blog by Linda Cain. She did a lovely trio of tags using paints and stamps in her background. I decided to give it a try.
I loved the simplicity and elegance of Linda’s tags. It inspired me to make her design my own. I used the sponging technique for the background and Lynne Perrella Stamps for the images. Well, thats it for today. Hubby and I are going to watch a movie!

Kate your triptych tags are so pretty. I love those Paper Artsy stamps and how you’ve used them to create such an interesting project. The random stamped backgrounds look really good. Love the soft colors and the pink dots around all of the edges. Thanks for sharing your art with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
Your tag trio background is so pretty, the added dimension of the dots around the edge are the perfect finishing touch. Lovely to hear you were inspired enough to play along with Linda’s project over on the PaperArtsy blog.
Oh this is beautiful! The subtle colours are perfect. I love it!
Oh wow, these tags are just delightful.I love the pretty colours you chose, and your stamping is fabulous. Hope you enjoyed the movie.
Your tags look great…just a nice as Linda’s. The dots around the edges really give an interesting look to your design.
They are really gorgeous, Kate – love the gentle pastel look you’ve achieved with the paint – and the LP images are beautifully displayed!

Rocking awesome images…so uber cool! Love the Liquid Pearl trim as well, and the sentiment the way she is holding it! COOL!
Love these tags!
This project is gorgeous! That liquid pearl border must have been fun! It is so easy to splodge it!!
