Our first blog hop of the year for Red Rubber Designs is here. We are showcasing ‘Love’ themed stamps this month and what better way than to use our beautiful Victorian Hearts stamp set.
I decided to use a paper bag to back my project. My inspiration came from the very talented Finnabair and her paper bag mini’s. I started off with a blank piece of cardstock. I inked my Background stamps with various colored Palette Inks and layered them. I used sepia and black glimmer sprays very sparingly. I also added some washi tape, bakers twine, buttons, and doilies to embellish. I used the Victorian Hearts set to embellish as well. I stamped the butterflies in black on the background and then again with various Palette inks and cut them out. I layered the butterflies and the sentiment banners from the stamp set.
This set is perfect for Valentine’s Day. And we are giving one away or the spotlight stamp set of your choice. Send an email to contest@RedRubberDesigns.com telling us the name of your favorite featured stamp set for January. We will randomly draw one name from all of our participants and the winner will receive their favorite stamp set! You can find our January Featured Stamps Here.
