Welcome to the Grand Opening of Red Rubber Designs. Today I will be sharing a project featuring the Life of the Party Stamp. Visit every DT members blog to see how we all feature this stamp uniquely with our individual style.
I decorated a square metal tin using the Rustic Chic Paper Stack. I then stamped on top the paper with stamps from the Well-Defined Stamp Set. I cut the individual elements from the Life of the Party stamp so I could feature them all seperately. The small tree is from the Mountain Scenery stamp set. I also used frames from the Fabulous Frames Stamp Set on the very top. I painted the vintage flapper girl with watercolors and then modge podged to add extra strength. The metal tin is sitting a top two wooden spools which have been painted and covered in the Rustic Chic papers. Vintage lace has been sprayed in pink and gathered to form tiny flowers. To finish it off I glittered all around the tin’s opening to add a bit of dazzle. I hope you have enjoyed this project. You must try this stamp. You can find it at the RRD Store.

Kate, the little scene you’ve created in the metal tin is fabulous! The little bits and pieces found in the stamp made for a really cool scene…you really have my imagination going! The “sign” at the very top with the “she was the life of the party” words really pull you in and make you want to check out this party girl and her surroundings! ;D

Hi Kate
I must apologise for missing so much of your art.
Anyway, today I am here to say “Stunning” – those stamps are gorgeous. My favourite era, I am sure I was a Flapper lol.
Tins are so appealing to alter, I have two as works in progress at the moment.
Love the detail.
