I am so happy to have had the time to create today. Yes, I know its another tag. I just can’t stop myself. When I cut cardstock for one tag I use the remaining as well so I end up with three blank tags sitting on my desk. I can’t leave them blank can I?
I used my new Christy Tomlinson doily stencil in the background which you can hardly see. The next layer was a Christy Tomlinson stamp. I then used more sprays, stamps and gesso. I love this image from Land of Nod . Because of the wild looking background I decided to keep the embellishments to a minimum ( I know, I usually deck it out) and focus on the photo. I used a My Minds Eye stamp set as my embellishments and distress inked in various colors. Some are on pop dots. My photo is on top of a Spellbinders lacey square die.
I think that about sums it up. I would like to enter this tag in the following challenges:
Gingersnap Creations - rust/copper color
Funky &Frilly – Your Favorite Vintage Style
Simon Says Stamp Challenge – Anything Goes
Thank you for visiting!

I adore this, it’s just gorgeous! You make it look like fun to make masculine art!
I love your great layers especially that awesome image – it just leaps from the elegant background!

Another Fabulous tag Kate. I love vintage and you have created a wonderful image of everything that I love. TFS. Have a lovely week-end. Hugs Rita xxx
Super tag Kate! I’m kind of hooked on them myself. I love the background you have created and how you let it shine on it’s own instead of covering it all up – something I am terrible at! And your vintage image is just sensational!
Great to see you at F&F! I am so thrilled that you have joined in the fun of our first challenge and hope you will be a regular at Frilly and Fancy!
Hugs,
Linda
Hi Kate
I am having so many problems commenting on friends’ blogs so keeping fingers crossed you will read what I have to say as this is stunning. The depth of colour, the interest of colour and texture and that fabulous little boy and yes, I have more to say (!) I like the stamped embellishments (that is my term for it anyway) as a substitute for your usual embellishments.
An absolute winner.
