Mystery Chocolate Box Swap

   Who doesn’t love chocolate?  Well, I suppose there are a few unfortunate people that are allergic but I cannot imagine that anyone would willingly dislike it.
    I loved having the excuse to go buy a box of chocolates for this swap over at LSH. I have not even recieved my partners name yet and I have finished decorating my box. Talk about excitement… So, I spent some time contemplating which box to buy and I decided on the clear acrylic Ferro chocolate box. I came home with the box of 25 chocolates on Friday evening and they were all gone by Sunday evening.
    I used Graphic 45′s Renaissance Faire for the box, Lindy’s Stamp Gang for the I Am Roses flowers along with some vintage lace and pearls for the outside of the box. Inside the top cover I used bling, more I Am Roses and an image from the collection. I am pleased with the way it turned out. All I have to do is get busy adding some vintage goodies to the inside. Today Has Been Busy

  I had so much time to scrapbook today which is a rare and unusual occurance. I accomplished so much in one sitting. I packaged up a box for my swap partner, made a tag, finished decorating a paper bag mini, started a chipboard gatefold mini and I completed a recipe card. What an exciting day!
    The recipe card was made for a friend as we were doing recipe swaps. I love the colors of my new Lindys Stamp Gang on the flowers and stamped image. They are so bright and glimmery.
     Next, I made the next tag in my Tea Tag series. This one uses the beautiful colors that I used on the first two tags. I did a lot of misting, distressing and I like how it turned out.
    Lastly, I have a little wall hanging that is an altered cd that I made for the friend getting the recipe card. I used the vintage paper bags that I bought from the Jule Box. They are awesome and fun. I used some eyelet lace I have had for years. The image of Marie Antoinette is from the internet. The frame was cut from my nestabilities, stamped and distressed with several colors. All the flowers are by I Am Roses. Well, thats enough for one day. Enjoy the weekend. I will!

Cocoa

Here is tag 4 in my tea tag series. It is a simple tag made with lace, tattered floral flowers from glimmer misted newspaper and a beautiful image by Oxford Impressions. I am loving the purple colored mist. I am working on tag number 5 so keep checking back.

Material Girl Mini

I entered my first swap over at myscraproom.ning. I made this mini for my swap partner Valerie. She chose Cosmo Crickets Material Girl. It is a beautiful line with dressforms, spools, stitching and scissors. The colors are retro and vibrant. The front and back cover was made using a collage technique found on YouTube by What You Make It.  I had a blast making the covers and I cannot wait to explore this new technique. Well, thats about it for now.

Tea and Scandal

Tag #3 in my tea tag series. I have not been posting as of late because I have lost internet on my netbook. It is so much easier for me to type a post on a keyboard instead of the touch screen on my phone. It takes so much time but I suppose I should just bite the bullet and do it on my phone. So, bear with me if my post are not as organized.
    For this tag I used paint, embossing and perfect pearls in the background. The image is from Oxford Impressions as well as the phrase. The cherry blossoms are I Am Roses. Vintage lace from The Jule Box. I made the ribbon rose and added some bling. Thanks for stopping by.
